intend retail location in which you propose to open a Mallz outlet has to be :
- Located
with visibility on a main road or crowded road with traffic
or
- Located
within a market area with customer footfalls or
- Located
in/ near a residential neighborhood/ colony with a high

park their vehicles.

have minimum 15 feet outlet frontage width (outlet entrance).

What areas are available?
There are a number of opportunities available in India in
various Indian states, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at
the Master Franchise and Unit Franchise levels depending
upon the investment and involvement levels a franchisee
is able to commit.

How much capital will I require?
In order to move quickly in the market for example:
you will need Rs. 35,00,000 liquid assets for a store format
of area: 2500 sft. This reflects the pace of the market
and will enable you to expand your business quickly when
property oppotunities become available. The exact investment
will be ascertained after the property has been evaluated
incase it is over 2500 sft and a specific capital requirement
analysis is made for your property. A Master Franchisee
for a territory will be vetted on an individual case to
case basis.
3.
What experience do I need?
We do not expect you to have retailing experience, as our
package of training and support will enable you to operate
to the highest standards. Because we fully expect you to
operate your own store in your city, we will tend to focus
on your commercial drive together with your ability to lead
and motivate a large team of staff to deliver our Mallz brand standards.
4.
Will I be able to sell my franchise in the future?
Yes, you can sell your business just like any other business.
However, we will want to vet the incoming Franchisee in
the same way as we have vet you. All transfers or sales
of the franchise will have to be cleared by us directly.
We also have the right to match the highest offer you have
received and buy the business ourselves with the right to
the first offer.
5.
Will I have to work full time in the business?
We prefer people who have no other business interest, however
we do recognise that you may want to continue your current
business or profession and each proposition will be judged
on its merits. We do expect that you will have a passion
for the business and will be able to devote an appropriate
amount of time to ensure its success.

If accepted as a Franchisee how long will it take to open
my first unit?
This depends on how quickly you can find yourself a suitable
location or start work at your present location. As a guide
you should be prepared to allow 3 to 4 months to fit-out
a property.
7.
How much money will I make?
Mallz provides you with a business blueprint and
the tools to help you make the business a success. Your
success will depend on how you use the blueprint and the
tools at your disposal. We even go to the extent of providing
you all the local marketing and promotion material required
by you on an ongoing basis. This enables to maintain quality
and a uniform communication about the chain to customers.
A fixed 27% gross margin is given on sales of products.
8.
Does Mallz offer any financial assistance?
No, financing is purely from your own or borrowed funds.Your
investment won't be purely one of time and effort as we
will also ask you to make a financial commitment towards
stock of goods, store interiors and local marketing efforts.
While we want to ensure that you successfully operate your
first store we will have a careful eye on your development
plans and for this reason we would want to work with Franchisees
who understand the commercial realities involved in running
a retail operation.
9.
Can I open more than one store?
Absolutely! We are only interested in pursuing interest
from Franchisees who can meet the Master development criteria
of opening up more stores within their own territory.

Do I need to find my own sites?
We fully expect Franchisees to play an active role in finding
their own sites or have their own property. Mallz
franchise will only be open to prospective franchisee's
whose location match our location and professional background
vetting standards.
